This lens supports the range from the angle of view of the semi-standard lens to the medium telephoto focal length range suitable for portraits. This lens uses extra-low dispersion (ED) glass for correcting chromatic aberration and a ghostless coating for providing sharp images even under backlit conditions. It features reproducibility with clear, abundant color gradations and high contrast. A flower-shaped hood that is highly effective over the entire zoom range also has a PL filter operation window.
