Description
This is a 2X zoom lens with wide coverage of the telephoto range. It has a compact design for easy portability when on mountains or outdoors, and it enables capturing of the best angle of the subject without approaching it. The second and fourth lenses use extra-low dispersion (ED) glass for minimizing chromatic aberration and providing sharp imaging performance with high contrast and high resolution. The minimum shooting distance is 2m over the entire zoom range, and the maximum shooting magnification is 0.18X (at 300mm), which is performance rivaling single focal
point lenses. An inner focus and inner zoom are used for minimizing changes in the total length or
weight balance when focusing and zooming for providing superior ease of operation. AF/MF switching is performed quickly by simply sliding the entire focus ring forward or backward.
