The GEO E643D (A) Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs from Velbon is a lightweight tripod that rises to a height of 61.7″. Thanks to its two-section removable center column and individual leg spreading it can also sit close enough to the ground for macro work or low angle photography.
A reversible 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded screw enables you to mount your choice of tripod head to the legs. The tripod legs each have a rubber foot with a retractable spike for extra stability in grass, gravel, and other loose terrain. A carrying case is included for easy transport, as is stabilizing ballast bag.
The two-section center column can be detached to enable extra low angle or macro photography. An elevator stopper makes it simple and easy to lock center column’s elevation. Each leg has etched scale marks so that the legs can be adjusted to the same height.
